Dispute Help
If something on your credit report is wrong — or the bureau can't prove it's right — you have the legal right to dispute it. We help you do it properly.
What Can Be Disputed
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you can dispute anything on your report that is:
Not sure what counts? Our free 27-error checklist covers the categories, and a line-by-line review shows you which of your items qualify.
How the Process Works
01
Prepare
We pull together the item, your records and the exact error — a dispute is only as strong as what backs it.
02
Submit
We help you file the dispute with the right bureau or creditor, in the right form, with the right evidence.
03
Bureaus investigate
The bureau typically has about 30 days to investigate and respond. Results vary — every report and every item is different.
04
Review results
When the response arrives, we read it with you: what changed, what didn't, and whether a follow-up makes sense.
The Honest Limits
Accurate, timely negative information cannot legally be removed — by us or by anyone. If a late payment really happened and it's within the reporting window, it stays until it ages off.
Anyone who promises otherwise is not being honest with you. What we can do is make sure everything on your report is accurate, complete and verifiable — and fight the items that aren't.
